We have been lied to for too long. We’ve been embarrassed by people who claim to represent us. For too long, we’ve been expected to think inside the box. To check the box we don’t believe in.
“This is the most important election of our lifetime!” “A vote for 3rd party is a wasted vote!” “We have to stop the other guy!” “This is the lesser of two evils!” “It will never happen, so don’t even try.”
If we keep making excuses, if we keep voting in fear, if we keep voting for fear… If we keep doing what we’ve always done. We will keep getting the same results. We will keep getting worse. Don’t believe the lie. You have the power. You have the power to make a difference, to be represented, to reach our potential, to break the cycle, to change the world, to secure our future.
Two is not enough. We demand they #LetHerSpeak #ShesWithUs #LetUsSpeak
Led by an unincorporated group of grassroots volunteers, the #LetHerSpeak Movement seeks to challenge the Commission on Presidential Debates (CPD) that has historically excluded third party candidates from national debates, depriving the American voters of the right to hear from all their candidates. We believes Dr. Jo Jorgensen has a right to debate on the national stage to share her vision of real change for real people with the people who will live with the consequences of the 2020 presidential election.
More broadly though, if a political party is able to get on enough ballots to make them eligible to secure 270 electoral votes, #LetHerSpeak supporters assert that the candidate is a viable option for people to vote into office… and that candidate, regardless of party affiliation, should be allowed on the debate stage. Do you agree…?
